Chief Daryl Saltzman

Chief Saltzman joined the Boonville Police Department in April, 1987.  In 1996 Daryl became Boonville’s first K-9 Officer.  His K-9 partner, Albin, retired in 2000.  During this time, Daryl served as Assistant Chief for 9 years until June, 2005 when he was promoted to Chief of Police.  Daryl graduated from the F.B.I. Academy in September, 2001 and currently serves as a D.A.R.E. Officer.  Daryl enjoys spending time with his wife, Cyndi and their two children, Jordan and Samantha.

Assistant Chief Geoffrey North

Assistant Chief North was a combat medic in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division.  He is a veteran of Desert Shield/Storm and spent time in both Saudi Arabia and Iraq.  Upon leaving the Army after 4 years he became a full-time firefighter/EMT and a part-time police officer in Montpelier, Vermont.  North hired on with Boonville in January, 2002.  He graduated, with honors, from the 150th class with the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.  North served as the head D.A.R.E. Officer and School Resource Officer until 2011.  He joined the Indiana National Guard in 2007 as a Military Police Officer and currently serves as a Operations Sergeant with the 384th Military Police Company.  North was appointed to Assistant Chief of Police in 2015.  North is a training officer and defensive tactics instructor.  North enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with his wife, Rhonda and his daughter, Cori

SRO Bryan McKain attended Roane State Community College located near Knoxville, Tennessee where he received an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Criminal Justice.  McKain decided in high school that he wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement.  Prior to becoming a police officer, McKain worked part-time with McKain Heating & Cooling.  Officer McKain was hired by the Boonville Police Department in 2006, and graduated from the 165th session of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.  McKain enjoys serving the fine citizens of Boonville to the best of his ability.
Chaplin John Swain
John Swain, Police Chaplain
Chaplain John Swain is a certified Senior Chaplain, certified by the International Conference of Police Chaplains.  He has served the police officers of the Boonville Police Department for nine years.  He is available to respond to the needs of the Boonville Police Department 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Sergeant Anderson was a 1995 graduate of the Boonville High School, majoring in U.S. History.  Upon graduation, Anderson joined the Indiana Army National Guard where he served 10 years and was deployed in 2002 to Bosnia, and again deployed to Afghanistan from 2004-2005.  In 2006, He was hired by the Boonville Police Department and graduated from the 165th class of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.  Anderson was promoted to Sergeant in 2015.  Anderson Enjoys working with the community and helping the community that supported him while he was deployed overseas. Brandon Wells

Officer Wells is a native of southern Illinois and relocated to southern Indiana after his term with the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Fort Stewart, Georgia as a Combat Engineer.  Prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army, Officer Wells attended Vincennes University’s Law Enforcement Program.  He graduated from the South West Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in November 2016 after joining the Boonville Police Department as a Patrolman in July 2016.  Officer Wells is married with 4 children.  He enjoys hunting, camping, boating, and watching his children participate in sports.  

Casey Miller

Officer Casey Miller grew up in Boonville.  She attended Boonville High School and graduated in 2005.  Before joining the Boonville Police Department in 2016, she was a dispatcher at the Warrick County Sheriff’s office for 8 years.  Officer Miller graduated the Southwest Law Enforcement Academy in November 2016.  On her spare time she enjoys spending  time with her husband and children.

Matthew Brown

Officer Matthew Brown joined the Boonville Police Department in July, 2017. Matthew served as a security forces member for four years in the United States Air Force. After serving our country, he safely drove one million miles across the lower 48 states as an owner operator truck driver. After feeling  a call to be closer to home and serve the community, Officer Brown decided to park his wheels and joined the Warrick County Sheriff's Office as a correctional officer. Later that year, he joined the Boonville Police Department as a patrolman. He enjoys woodworking, hunting and spending time with his wife and two children.
