Charlie Baker, Patrolman
Officer Charlie Baker has been a member of the Boonville Police Department since 1994. He is currently a dayshift patrol officer. Some of his advanced training includes, Technical Crash Investigator and Crisis Negotiations. Officer Baker is also a Field Training Officer and is responsible for the training of new officers.
Micah Mangas, Patrolman
Officer Micah Mangas grew up in Fountain City Indiana and graduated from Northeastern High school where he played football and golf. He spent most his life working beside his parents in ministry tracking from state to state. Officer Mangas moved to Vincennes Indiana and attended Vincennes University and earned an associate degree in Law enforcement. While attending school he worked with a church organization out of Orlando, FL where he spent 2 months in Ghana, Africa doing missionary work. Officer Mangas was sworn into the Boonville Police Department on October, 26, 2015. Officer Mangas moved into the area after being hired. Officer Mangas graduated from the Southwest Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, SWILEA, in 2016. He enjoys spending his time, off work, with family and friends, hunting and doing outdoor activities.
Adam Wilmes, Patrolman
Officer Adam Wilmes was sworn into the Boonville Police Department on October 26th, 2015. He graduated from Mater Dei High School in Evansville where he played football, basketball, and baseball. He then went to the University of Southern Indiana where he graduated with a double major in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Prior to being hired on at Boonville, Adam spent a summer interning at a halfway house in Evansville where he worked with a case manager. Today, Adam enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching his favorite sports teams, and being an assistant football and basketball coach at Mater Dei for his fifth year.
Ronald "Paul" Harper, Patrolman
Officer Paul Harper grew up in Elberfeld, IN before moving to Terre Haute to work at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility. He became a police officer for the city of Clinton, IN in 2014 and graduated from Plainfield Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 2015. Officer Harper joined the Boonville Police Dept in 2016 and enjoys serving the citizens of Boonville. Some of his training includes certified field training officer, ILEA instructor, and mental health specialist. Officer Harper has a Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and is currently completing his Bachelor's degree at ISU. While off duty he enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
