CITY BOARD OF WORKS

Each city must have a board of works and safety.  For the City of Boonville, the mayor is a member of the board of works and appoints two other persons.  These members have broad powers.  The major functions of the board include police and fire protection; the functions of the public works also include streets, sanitation, sewers, and municipal utilities.

Board of Public Works meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday at 10:00AM, and 4th Wednesday at 5:00PM of every month and are open to the public.
